“I have been taking pictures since I could hold a camera. Now I am learning what else there is to being an artist beyond my education. The passion I was born with, and dedication, are revealing the rewards of following my gut”

Artist Statement

My work now focuses on the peripheral moments of everyday life. Ruminations on the ordinary expose the struggle of trying to hold what cannot be held.

I vie to express my need for refuge from the pace of our days, and to contend with the tension of trying to grasp such fleeting moments.

By trying to uncover what can be realized in the quiet moments, I find blurred lines between escape and obsession.
