This work is representative of ruminant glances at the past – a past littered with bits of conversation and memory, some brilliant, some molded.
Through an exploration of family dynamics, I hope to examine the complexities of these relationships, and expose a distilled inner turmoil. I use black and white film, translated into laser prints, to express an urgent, sometimes desperate need to understand the tension and vulnerability within each moment. My process is a stand-in for myself. I have pieced together the images as a metaphor for making sense of the chaos that is, and surrounds, our lives.
